Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take?

Our norm is less than four weeks for single subject portraits sizes 12x16, 16x20 and 20x24. When we receive your order we get right on it, but we do take our time to do it right. Larger paintings, paintings with several subjects or complicated backgrounds, will take a little longer. We also ensure the painting is dry before shipping.

Do you have express ordering?

Yes, but within reason. If there is a deadline involved, let us know that in the comment section of the order form. If we feel comfortable that we can meet that deadline, we’ll accept your order. If not, we’ll let you know.

What’s involved in ordering?

We’ve made the ordering process easy and simple. The first step is to fill out your contact information, the desired size of your painting, number of subjects in the painting and give us any special instructions you may have. Special instructions could include removing people in the background, doing a composite painting from separate photographs, cropping the photograph, etc. If there is a question as to exactly what you’re wanting, we’ll contact you. If you want your painting to be as shown in the photo, no special instructions are needed. Don’t forget to upload your photo and then click “Next.”

The next page shows a summary of your order and the total price. The page also has our “Terms and Conditions” which you need to read and accept. If everything is agreeable, after reviewing everything, click “Submit.” You can also change your order by clicking “Return” or cancel the order by clicking “Decline.”

When the artist is finished with your painting, we’ll send you a photo of it for your approval. We’re confident you’ll love it. However, if there is a small change or correction you would like made, let us know what it is and we’ll take care of it and send you a photo of the corrected painting. Please know that it’s our business strategy to give you a painting that you are extremely happy with -- a painting your family will always treasure -- because we want you to be a repeat customer and a source for referrals.

What is your method of payment?

We’ve divided the cost of our art into easy bite-size monthly payments. The first payment is due at the time of ordering. We accept all major credit cards and PayPal.

What digital formats do you accept for the photo?

We don’t care.

I don’t have a digital photo, can I send a photo print?

Yes. Send your photo to P.O. Box 788, Lilburn, GA 30048.

Can you combine photos for a portrait?

We have a great photo with a lousy background. Is there anything you can do about that?

Sure. On the order form, describe the best you can what you’re looking for. We’ll first do a mock-up for you’re approval before a brush is set on canvas. Click HERE for another example.
